Session Greetings from the WSWD2023: 6th International Conference Team. We are glad to inform you that the WSWD2023: 6th International Conference is going to be held during May 11-13, 2023 at KIB International Convention Hall & YWCA Conference Hall, Dhaka, Bangladesh.
The conference will be organized by Community Social Work Practice & Development Foundation-CSWPDF in association with the Department of Sociology and Social Work of The People’s University of Bangladesh along with other national and international organizations as associates to make the event a grand success.
The WSWD2023: 6th International Conference is officially partnered with the Association of Social Workers-ASW, Bangladesh, and the International Federation of Social Workers-IFSW which recognize the conference as a historical step forward in the case of social work professionalization in Bangladesh. The intention of the conference organizers is to create a broader avenue for practicing social workers, academics, researchers, community organizers, social scientists, development practitioners, business professionals, physicians, IT experts, and engineers to share their innovative thoughts and research findings toward the sustainability of social diversity.

Papers are invited from the participant on any of the above Sub-themes proposed. We invite academicians, professional social workers, development professionals, researchers, graduates in particular, and others interested to submit their abstracts. The Abstract should not exceed 200 words. Applicants are cordially instructed to submit their abstracts (in English) through email attachment as a word document to wswd2023con@cswpd.com OR rahmanh7@gmail.com by March 27, 2023. The Abstract should be in Microsoft Word, Times New Roman, 12-point font size with 1.5 line spacing. It would be highly appreciated if the Abstract is proofread using a grammar checker software, e.g. Grammarly.
Abstract Submission should include:
a) Presenter Details (Name, Designation, Address, Contact Number, and Email ID)
b) Title (not exceeding 15 words)
c) Abstract (between 150-200 words)
d) Keywords (4 to 5)
e) References (APA 7th Style)

The conference venues are KIB Convention Hall, KIB Complex, Khamar Bari Rd, Dhaka-1215, Bangladesh and YWCA of Bangladesh Conference Hall, Level #07, 3/23 Iqbal Road, Mohammadpur, Dhaka-1207, Bangladesh, respectively. Both are an approximately 30-minute journey from the Shahjalal International Airport, Dhaka, by road unless delayed by traffic jam. The locations are convenient for all participants and guests from home and abroad. If required, volunteers will receive foreign guests from the airport.
Dhaka is a mega city with a rich heritage. Our guests may visit notable historical sites, supermalls, the National Museum, the National Shahid Minar, Novotheatre, Bangabandhu Military Museum, the Public Library, the University of Dhaka, etc.
The conference offers to host the release of related books. The authors and/or Publishers may submit their request for the release of books. 20 minutes will be allocated for hosting each book and it will be chaired by an eminent academician/practitioner (to be decided by a committee in consultation with the author/publisher). This event is sponsored, please contact HERE for the fees. The conference will encourage the provision of a special price for such books for the conference guests/delegates.
Sharing World Social Work Day theme and declaration of National Social Work Week. The conference organizers have planned to share the World Social Work Day theme and declare a National Social Work Week. The details will be communicated later on as they have other plans to share.
